A showcase of the Royal School Of Needlework

BA (Hons) Hand Embroidery for Fashion, Interiors, Textile Art is a world-renowned course delivered by the Royal School of Needlework in dedicated studios at Hampton Court Palace, Surrey. The Royal School of Needlework holds a world-renowned reputation for excellence in hand embroidery. This exhibition at R-Space showcases the works of recent graduates. Each exhibit exemplifies the teaching of the RSN; the craft of hand embroidery applied to individual creative practice.

The course provides a dynamic learning experience, offering international links and opportunities for collaboration through its extensive professional connections. Developing creative approaches to drawing, design and practice-based research, degree graduates build a professional context for their practice throughout their study, learning traditional hand embroidery techniques which they translate into contemporary stitch based outcomes.
